Victoria Delays Cleared, Shipping Soon 8:16 AM | Andy Largent | Comment on this story
A news post on the Virtual Programming site notes the company has cleared up the last of the hurdles around the release of their strategy game Victoria and should have it in stores soon. The game is based on the Europa Universalis engine from Paradox Entertainment, but takes place instead in the colonial times of the 19th century. According to Virtual Programming, they ran into a few stumbling blocks surrounding the game's distribution in getting out the OS X version: VP would like to announce that we have now resolved various problems associated with the delayed release of Victoria. The reasons have been numerous, and it has been frustrating for both ourselves and of course those customers who have been patiently awaiting it's release. Changes to our distribution structure has been a major contributor to the delay of this product, although we must confess we did not expect it to run to this length of time. However, we can confirm that the production is complete and orders will be shipped out shortly. For more on Victoria, have a look at their site.
