This week's IMG Desktop features the kid-friendly title Shrek 2. Based directly off of the popular DreamWorks movie currently in theaters, Shrek 2: The Game presents players with a quest that features all of the main characters from the movie, including Shrek, Donkey, and Fiona to name a few. Here's a snippet of what IMG's in-house desktop creator Brad Custer had to say about this week's creation: With the recent release of Shrek 2 in the theatres and it's overwhelming success it was a sure sign that my email would be loaded with requests for a desktop from the game. And the news from Aspyr Media that the game is at final candidate also contributed to a surge in mail. Of course I've enjoyed the movie myself and we all know it's "better out then in". I'm not sure how that applies to creating a desktop for the game, but I did just that. ;) In this week's offering I wanted to create a desktop that would go along with the theme of the box art. So, with the help of Aspyr Media and Activision, I was able to create this wallpaper. I simply entitled it, "Loveable Ogre", and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. :) The desktop features Shrek, with his large melon occupying a good portion of the picture. As always, those interested in downloading will find multiple resolutions available at Custer's Desktops.
