The hit free open-source Fantasy Strategy game, Battle For Wesnoth recently received a new update. The latest update to the game includes a number of bug fixes, along with fixing the map editor that was recently added to the game. Here's a list of fixes: Version 0.7.5 • many map editor improvements • changed 'dark gray' player colour to 'orange' • scenario balancing for 'Son of the Black Eye' campaign: • Shan Taum the Smug • enabled accented characters in textboxes for LATIN-1 charset • made it impossible to label shrouded hexes • fixed OGG checks in --enable-lite • fixed clicking to the right of a character in a textbox causing segfault • fixed crash when pressing 'escape' in 'advance unit' dialog • moved scorpionfoot movetype to game.cfg • added unhandled exception code Since many of you may be unfamiliar with Battle for Wesnoth, here's a quick description of the game:Battle for Wesnoth is a fantasy turn-based strategy game. Battle for control of villages, using variety of units which have advantages and disadvantages in different types of terrains and against different types of attacks. Units gain experience and advance levels, and are carried over from one scenario to the next. Features: Build a Hero, and lead your army. Different races, with distinctive abilities, weapons and spells. GNU/Linux, Windows, MacOSX, BeOS, Solaris, FreeBSD and OpenBSD compatible.
