7 Desktops To Rule Them All!
11:43 AM | Brad Custer | Comment on this story

Bard Custer's Desktops has been updated at IMG today with seven new desktops from Aspyr's upcoming release of The Lord of the Ring: Return of the King. Each desktop features one of the seven major characters from the movie.

Here's an excerpt from Custer's update:

In case you were in a coma or just too busy polishing your precious, then you might not know that The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King swept the oscars. I wanted to celebrate this accomplishment with my own very special treat for all you fans of the trilogy. I decided to do this by creating a desktop for all the models from the game I had access too. At first this seemed like an easy task, but I wanted to place the models in actual scenes from the movie so I had to do some screen captures from the 2nd dvd. I also wanted to try and tie them into some of the official offerings from the The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King web site. These wallpapers were created with the help of Aspyr Media, Electronic Arts and the internet. I simply entitled each after the characters they were based on and I truly hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them. :) It was certainly a major undertaking.
