Nanosaur 2 Hits Alpha

Pangea Software's Brian Greenstone let IMG know today that Nanosaur 2 has hit alpha and is racing its way towards completion. According to Greenstone, the sequel to one of the most popular Mac shareware games ever could be released as early as March 10th.

Here's what Greenstone had to say about the game going Alpha:

Nanosaur 2 has gone alpha, and we expect to be beta next week which should put us on target for a March 10th release date. All of the levels are done and everything is in the game. Just a few placeholder things need to be swapped out for final artwork, and then we can declare beta, at which point we'll continue testing until we think it's 100% solid.
IMG will be posting a hands-on preview of the game shortly. In the meantime, be sure to check out some of the recent Nanosaur 2 screenshots, linked below.
