Brad Oliver At Phoenix's Apple Store Biltmore Saturday 8:26 AM | Jean-Luc Dinsdale | Comment on this story
As reported earlier this week here on IMG, Aspyr Media's Brad Oliver will be dropping by the Apple Store Biltmore in Phoenix, Arizona, at 1:00 pm this Saturday, January 17th, for a quick, one-hour presentation. "The" Brad Oliver, the programmer behind the MacMAME project, the man responsible for porting such triple-A titles as Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, Civilisation 3, and America McGee's Alice to the Mac, will be speaking on the highs and lows of being one of the more reknown modern-day Mac game programmers. Brad will speak on his work with Aspyr Media's new Mac and PC Development Team, his ongoing work on MacMAME, and general gaming issues. As a special bonus, Brad will be giving away a copy of his latest work, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. And if that isn't enticement enough, Brad may even treat viewers to a special sneak peek at the latest version of his current project: Aspyr's recently announced expansion pack Medal Of Honour: Breakthrough. This is a must-do for anyone who's curious about the behind-the-scenes of the Mac gaming world. The Apple Store is located on the street level of the Biltmore Fashion Park in the historic Biltmore area of Phoenix, next to the Cheesecake Factory.
