Further to last week's news on the upcoming Mac version of The Sims' most recent expansion pack, Apple's Quicktime website is now hosting the official trailer of The Sims: Makin' Magic.

The expansion pack, the latest in a long line of popular The Sims add-ons, introduces magic and wizardry to the Sims universe. Featuring over 175 new items, the expansion allows players to draw on mystical powers for their benefit or amusement.

The expansion pack, the first to be ported internally by the newly-formed Aspyr development team, is expected to be available by the end of January. Sims fans eager to get their hands on the new title should head over to the Aspyr online store, where they can pre-order the title for $29.99 USD.
