Joystick manufacturer Saitek taken the wraps off of the successor to their midrange Cyborg joystick. The new Cyborg Evo offers "improved adjustability, refined control interfaces and new hard hitting styling," according to the product website. Gracing the head of the new joystick is a trigger plus five additional thumb buttons and an eight-way hat switch. The base features four additional buttons plus two shift buttons. The joystick has a lever throttle and twist-grip, as well as adjustment screws to move the stick head to the "optimym gaming position." The Cyborg Evo is designed for both left- and right-handed gamers, featuring a central throttle and adjustable palm rest. The Cyborg Evo is not yet available for purchase, and no release date has been announced. Saitek made a name for itself in the Mac market with the introduction of its low-cost, high-end X36 HOTAS. Since then many of Saitek's USB products have found homes on the Macintosh, including their high-end racing wheels, analog game pads, and FLCS setups.
