Want to try force feedback on the Mac? Right now? To coincide with Apple's release of Mac OS X 10.2.3, Feral Interactive has released a patch to F1 Championship Season 2000 that adds force feedback support. According to Feral, this is the first game ever to support force feedback on the Mac. Here's more on the update from Feral's web site: This fixes a number of small issues mostly relating to Steering wheels with the initial release, but most significantly it enables Force Feedback for F1 . This makes F1 the first ever Mac game to give the Force Feedback experience and it will give you a feel of the tarmac under your wheels and the metal of other cars when things go wrong.. You will need a wheel, which is Force Feedback compliant, but once you have one you are ready to rrrrumble. To download the 1.7 MB patch, head over to our sister site, Macgamefiles.com. The game is available for purchase from MacPlay in North America.
