Radeon 7000 Benchmarks Posted 6:00 AM | Andy Largent | Comment on this story
Benchmarking site Barefeats has some a number of new tests with ATI's only current retail PCI card available for the Mac, the Radeon 7000. This card features 32MB of VRAM and is compared with other, more powerful AGP graphics cards, as well as its predecessor, the original Radeon PCI. In their tests, they find the card doesn't hold up as well under 3D performance as it does for 2D apps, though be sure to consult their graphs for specifics. Also, for much more on the Radeon 7000, have a read through IMG's full review posted early this year.
