The 3DO web site now has the Mac version of Heroes of Might & Magic IV available for pre-order. The title is set to ship in "late November" and costs $49.95, though the first 250 orders will also receive a free T-shirt. Heroes of Might & Magic IV contains many new improvements above earlier incarnations of the popular fantasy strategy series, including a completely revamped graphics engine, new heroe abilities, as well as many new quests, classes, and schools of magic. The game is being ported by Contraband Entertainment, and the system requirements follow: Operating System:MacOS 8.6, 9.x or greater, 10.1 or greater
CPU:Power Macintosh G3 350 MHz or Greater
Free Hard Disk Space: 750 MB
Memory:192 MB RAM
CD-ROM Drive: 4X Speed
Video Card: 800x600 video display (thousands of colors)
Peripherals: Keyboard and mouse
