IMG Reviews The Titanium PowerBook G4/800 12:49 PM | Galen Wiley | Comment on this story
Richard Hallas of the IMG crew has posted a rather lengthy review of the Titanium PowerBook G4/800. Six pages in length, this review offers information on virtually every aspect of the computer, from physical appearance to included hardware, and of course, gaming. Here is a sneak peak of what's inside: Make no mistake: this laptop is a tremendous gaming machine. It's a fast computer in itself, and its graphics card appears to be a pretty stunning performer too. The only pity is that, at present, very few games take advantage of its native screen resolution, so you'll probably find yourself playing most games at 1024*768 at best, scaled up to fill the screen (with black vertical bands). This is no real hardship, though, and the situation will presumably improve with future game releases. If you're interested in buying a new computer, or just want to see what Apple these days has to offer, be sure to check out the full review for more information.
