Alien vs. Predator 2 Interview 6:00 AM | Galen Wiley | Comment on this story
Paul Pawlicki of Fox Interactive was interviewed by AvPNews.com, concerning one of Fox's most popular titles, Alien vs. Predator 2. This rather lengthy interview covers a wide-array of topics, ranging from Pawlicki's background, the movies, past games, future games, and of course, Alien vs. Predator 2, the game itself. Here's a sneak peak of what's inside: SG: The first-person perspective has been extremely popular with Fox for the format of it's Aliens/Predator games – since AvP for the Atari Jaguar in 1994, there have been seven Aliens-based titles using the first-person perspective. Do you think this trend will continue?PP: Yes, I think it will continue. It seems to be a natural fit for the series. That doesn't mean that all AvP games will be first person. We're open to new ideas and searching for different genres of games that might lend themselves to a good game. An AvP game essentially means that you can play the same game from the perspective of three different species. It doesn't necessarily have to be from the first-person perspective. You can check out the full interview for more, exclusive, information.
