Spiderweb Seeks Mac Avernum 3 Testers 11:14 AM | Andy Largent | Comment on this story
A new update on the Spiderweb Software web site brings word they are seeking Mac testers for Avernum 3. If you've been a beta tester before or are interested in Spiderweb's line of role-playing games, you might consider going over now and filling out an application. Avernum 3 is the latest in Spiderweb's rethinking of their popular Exile series. The games are known for their open-ended gameplay in which players can choose from a variety of different tasks and missions (or choose the life of a shopkeeper). The game is scheduled for release next month on the Mac, assuming no major bugs are found. Avernum 3 features very low system requirements: - 120 MHz PowerPC Macintosh
- 12 MB free RAM
- 20 MB hard drive space
- 800x600 screen resolution, 16-bit color
Avernum 3 is $25, or $32 with a hint book. For more information or to sign up for the beta test, check out the Spiderweb site now.
