Civilization III is Gold

After MacSoft announced yesterday afternoon that Civilization III would be shown at Macworld Expo San Francisco, the publisher's Nate Birkholz revealed in the IMG Forum that the game has actually gone gold and will be for sale at the Expo in the second week of January: Civ 3 for Macintosh went gold this week. Brad [Oliver] and John [Butler] did a fantastic job and managed to get it out in time to have it for sale at Macworld.Happy Holidays everyone. Hope your stocking has some Civ money in it! Civilization III, developed by Sid Meier's Firaxis Games and ported to the Mac by Westlake Interactive, is the latest in what is perhaps the most popular series of turn-based strategy games ever released on any platform.
