UT OS X Preview 1.1 Available

News both good and bad regarding the progress of the much-anticipated Mac OS X patch for Unreal Tournament has recently surfaced on Usenet. Mark Adams recently unveiled Preview Version 1.1, which is currently available for download. Adams also briefly explains why the latest version is still considered very much a test version: I am not releasing this as a full official preview release yet (via mirrors and all) because I have a very bad feeling this app may be worse than Preview 1. But if you are an X-treme gamer :), you can try it out and post here or email utosx@mac.com to tell me how bad it was. I'm afraid it's just going to die at the end of loading for nearly everyone, but who knows - maybe it will work for some.Give it a shot. Apparently, Adams also immediately received feedback regarding this latest preview, most of which amounted to the latest incarnation of crashing upon startup. He was quick to respond with another statement:Yep :( I'm going to work with some Apple engineers after we all get back from Christmas break to see if we can get this thing shaped up. I mainly did the preview 1.1 just to have something new out before I got out of town for Christmas. Those who still wish to attempt to use this latest test version can find a link for downloading it below. We hope Adams will be able to get some concrete feedback after the holidays and get the UT OS X patch fully functional.
