Geneforge Hits RC2

Following our preview of the game yesterday, Spiderweb Software's Jeff Vogel informed IMG that the upcoming title Geneforge is now at RC2. This second release candidate means that if no major bugs are found, the game could be released as early as next week.
Geneforge looks similar to Spiderweb's other 2D fantasy role-playing games, but the gameplay, featuring the ability to create your own creatures, looks to be a radical departure from the Exile and Avernum series.
