IMG Reviews Two Worlds II: Pirates Of The Flying Fortress 6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story
Inside Mac Games has posted a new review of TopWare's Two Worlds II: Pirates of the Flying Fortress, an expansion for the Two Worlds II fantasy RPG. The add-on takes players into the "gloomy pirate world" and features thunder and rain storms, new weapons, impact oriented horse armor, and all new boss encounters. Here's an excerpt: The graphical environment is nothing short of astounding in its realism. The grasses shift as you move through them. But more then that, they shimmer in the moonlight (or sunlight) as they shift, casting shadows that trick the eye. Both the lighting and the environmental effects, work to make this environment very realistic. The surface of the islands in PotFF are populated with animal life (that seems to have a vendetta against humans), as well as a variety of trees and plants. The ground moves from sandy beach to grassy land, then onto rocky hills. Hidden within the environs are groups of monsters, animals, or other dangerous things. One could easily spend a lot of time simply exploring this world. Click over to the full review at the link below.
