Cities In Motion Released 6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story
Deliver2Mac has announced the release of Cities in Motion. The mass public transportation simulator allows players to visit a variety of cities in different time periods where they must build profitable transportation systems. Think you have what it takes to keep four of the world's greatest cities in motion? In our latest game, Cities in Motion, you'll visit Vienna, Helsinki, Berlin, and Amsterdam and manage their ever-changing public transportation needs between 1920 and 2020 as you build lines for trains, trams, boats, buses, and helicopters while trying to please commuters, negotiating with banks, and navigating shifting economic trends. Successfully deal with that and you'll hopefully turn a profit. Each city is rendered in rich 3D detail, with over 100 unique buildings, an underground view, and more than 30 vehicles based on their real-life counterparts. Residents belong to seven different social groups, each with specific behaviors that need to be a accommodated as people travel between their homes, jobs, and vacation destinations. The included campaign features 12 scenarios. A sandbox mode allows you to play in all four campaign cities to your heart's content, while the advanced map editor lets you create your own metropolises. Ready to exercise your planning skills? Then let's set some cities in motion! System Requirements: - OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.3, or later
- Processor: 2 GHz Dual Core or higher
- 2GB RAM
- 2GB Hard drive
- NVIDIA GeForce 8800/ATI Radeon HD 3850 or higher with 512 MB RAM, OpenGL 3.0
Cities in Motion is available for $19.95 (£14.95, €17.95).
