Majesty 2: Monster Kingdom Released 6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story
Virtual Programming has announced the release of Monster Kingdom, a new expansion for Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim. The add-on's ten mission campaign features new buildings, heroes, abilities, guild powers, and a new monster race available in multiplayer mode. One King to Rule Them All: Those words launch Monster Kingdom, the final chapter in the Majesty 2 expansion trilogy for Mac OS X. Players defeated all manner of threats to their kingdom in previous adventures, but now they face the theft of the Crown of Ardania by the High Priests. With only their trusted advisor to guide them, players embark on the Exiles of Fate campaign to regain the throne, relying on unlikely allies along the way. "Like the third act of any great story, Monster Kingdom introduces a unique twist: monsters provide the assistance needed to restore Ardania to its peaceful glory," said Virtual Programming CEO Mark Hinton. "It's a wonderful way to conclude the Majesty 2 tale. We look forward to visiting Ardania again sometime soon." "We're proud of what we accomplished with Majesty 2 and its expansion trilogy," said Paradox Interactive's Fredrik Wester. "Ardania has become a richly-textured world with a fascinating history. Don't worry: there are more adventures on the horizon."Requirements: - Mac OS X: 10.6.3 or higher
