Inside Mac Games Reviews Diner Dash: Hometown Hero 12:59 PM | Tuncer Deniz | Comment on this story
Inside Mac Games has posted a review of PlayFirst's Diner Dash: Hometown Hero, the fourth game in the popular Diner Dash series of casual games. Here's a clip from the review: Overall, gameplay in this latest edition is pretty much identical to the previous games. There's still a 50-level story mode and an alternative continuous-play mode (which seems very challenging), and in the last group of ten story-mode levels you have an assistant, so you can carry four items instead of just two. The main new addition to the gameplay is the appearance, in a few levels, of a trainee waitress who is ostensibly there to help you. In fact, she's really there to be a pain in the backside, because you have to compete against her and beat her score by a significant margin in order to get through the levels.
