Aquaria Status, Gameplay Video 6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | 7 comments
Ambrosia Software's Aquaria progress log was recently updated with a new Bit Blot developer post offering a link to a new gameplay video and information about the progress of the Mac version of the game. Early tests indicate the Mac version is running as well as the Windows version. Aquaria is a side-scrolling underwater action adventure game that uses an innovative and intuitive mouse control system. Utilizing this control system, Naija, the main character, can deftly swim through and explore a massive, hand-crafted fantasy world that is teeming with undersea life. Along the way, players will encounter literally hundreds of different types of plants and animals and explore many in-game miles of hidden caves, lost ruins, and unexpected places. Our latest blog update features a new video showing some of the game play of Aquaria. The video deals with things that you can find off the beaten path. In Mac news, a couple of Ambrosia folks have been doing some rudimentary testing on the Mac side. Things seem to work as well as they do on the Windows side so far! We're going to hold off from a wider Mac test until the PC version is nearly final. To check out the video head over to the blog post at the link below.
