Open Beta For 3D Big Bang Board Games 7:58 AM | Cord Kruse | 1 comment
Freeverse Software's latest Montymail newsletter announced the release of an open beta for the new version of Big Bang Board Games. Among other things the beta sports a full 3D engine with animated 3D pieces. Open beta time for the new version of Big Bang Board Games. Lots of under-the-hood changes. The most noticeable change? Full 3D engine with animated 3D pieces. Huzzah! Next up is a new Chess AI engine. Huzzah again! Click-and-drag the 3D boards to rotate them, and use scrolling for zoom (scroll wheel, scroll function on trackpad, or page up/page down keys)...NOTE: We suggest keeping your current versions of Big Bang Board Games around! This is a beta after all, and unforeseen situations can always arise. For instance: if you use this beta version to initiate iChat games, you may run into problems connecting. So if you want to play via iChat at the moment, stick to the current version. Those willing to brave the chance of unexpected bugs and glitches in beta software can learn more about the open beta at the links below.
