Minions of Mirth Reviewed 7:37 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story
Minions of Mirth, Prairie Games' fantasy role playing game, was recently reviewed by Strategy Informer. The game offers both single and multiplayer gaming in a world populated by a large variety of races, classes, and monsters. Prairie Games own servers are open to gamers, as well as a growing number of fan made worlds. Strategy Informer gave Minions of Mirth an 8.7 out of 10. There is also the ability to join forces with other players and form alliances. Alliances allow you to give things to other players and also to go on quests together, helping one another along the way. The chat system allows you to talk with just those local to you, or globally, or to your alliance, or just to one other person. There is also a decent range of actions that your avatar can perform such as waving and laughing. There are a massive amount of creatures to fight, items to pick up, spells to learn and skills to gain. Much hard work and love has been put into this game and it really shows, in the story lines and in the detail. There did seem to be some occasional problems with server lag, but they were minimal, and fixed very quickly by the administrators, which made for a delightful experience.
