MWSF: Pangea Announces Enigmo 2 6:00 AM | Tuncer Deniz | 3 comments
Pangea Software today announced their upcoming game, Enigmo 2, the sequel to the popular Enigmo puzzle game released a couple of years ago. The game, scheduled to be released in mid February, this time around is in full 3D. The company has also posted new screenshots and a QuickTime trailer of the upcoming game. Here's more from the announcement: Enigmo 2 is a follow-up to the incredibly popular game Enigmo, and the new version takes puzzle games to a whole new dimension. Enigmo 2 is a 3D puzzle game where the player manipulates flowing water, plasma and laser beams so that they can reach their final destination. Along the way, the player must toggle switches, deactivate force-fields, use magneto-spheres to attract charged particles, and perform many other feats of Newtonian physics.“For Engimo 2 we really wanted to do something different,” said Brian Greenstone, President of Pangea Software, “We didn’t want to just add more levels to the old game, but rather, we wanted to take the concept of a physics-based puzzle game to the next level by introducing new puzzle parts like the laser beams, charged plasma particles, teleporters, etc.” Greenstone goes on to say that Enigmo 2 will include a built-in level editor that allows players to build their own games that they can share with friends or post on a web site to allow anyone to play their custom levels.
