El Ballo - Further Delays 8:55 AM | Blake Buck | Comment on this story
After many months of waiting, it appears El Ballo, the latest game from Ambrosia Software, has been further delayed. El Ballo is a mature-themed 2D platformer that spoofs old school platform games. In a recent post on the El Ballo progress log, Rustedivan, the project's lead designer, mentions several problems and delays that have cropped up in the final stages of development. From the El Ballo progress log: Right. I guess by now you're not surprised to hear that El Ballo is delayed. The last month has been a bit on and off. We threw another build at the testers, and Ambrosia said that it wasn't good enough. What? Some crashes, non-working levels, and no fullscreen mode in Mac OS 9? How's that not good enough? El Ballo is currently labeled as closed beta status. No release date has been announced, but should be nearing release soon. IMG will have more news on El Ballo as it develops.
