Sports Interactive announced the release of a patch for their popular title Football Manager 2005. The patch reportedly fixes a number of bugs and tunes the game to be more realistic.

Football Manager 2005 is, of course, not about America football but about football across the pond -- otherwise known as soccer. If you think that the Madden series of games are child's play, and that there aren't enough statistics involved, then the Football Manager series is for you. Here's a bit about the game:

Heard of total football?  Well this is total control.  Sports Interactive have ramped up the scope of on-pitch management further than ever before, putting you in complete control of your team’s creative freedom, width and tempo.  Innovative slider bars now maximise the accuracy of your input, putting you in charge of the finest details.  Shape your team and issue instructions to each and every player, ensuring they perform to the standards their pay packets demand.
Head over to Sports Interactive's website to download the patch or to find out more about this sports sim.
