IMG Reviews Logitech Z-2200 10:21 AM | Johan Hansén | Comment on this story
IMG's Tim Morgan has taken a look at the Z-2200, the latest dust-buster from the Mac friendly hardware manufacturers at Logitech. Originally designed to be a set of 2.1 speakers, the Z-2200 is powerful enough to keep your dust away. From the article: The first thing I noticed about the Z-2200 is its power. The system boasts 200 watts RMS of power (with a peak of 400 watts), with 80 of those watts originating from the satellites and the remaining 120 from the sub. In the end, this gives the speakers quite a bit of punch for a computer setup. The Z-2200 is quite capable of any volume level appropriate for household use, and can hold its own for social events. Quite impressive was the lack of clipping: Even on a hot signal at the top of its volume range the speakers stayed true. High volume tests saw a decrease in clarity and a noticeable increase in signal noise, but produced an otherwise unaffected tone. To read the full review, follow the link provided below.
