After a quick chat with Jean-Philippe Agati, senior vice president and general manager of Atari's Los Angeles studio, gaming wesite worthplaying.com has posted additional news and nineteen new screenshots for Epic Games' third instalment of their famed multiplayer first person shooter - Unreal Tournament 2004.
The post covers most of what's new in the next iteration of the popular franchise. As previously reported here at IMG, the new version of the game will bring the popular Assault gaming mode back to the shooter, and will incorporate a new game type called Onslaught. On top of the usual slew of new maps, skins, weapons, and music, the game will feature improved bot AI, more flexible user control, and, last but not least, will feature a number of vehicles, both land- and air-based, for players to hop into and control.
Most importantly, however, are the nineteen new screenshots posted on the website - click on the link below to check them out.
Epic Games has announced that the PC version of the game is expected to be released in February of 2004, while game publishers Macsoft expect to have the Mac version of the title available at approximately the same time.
