An independent game company named Codo Technologies has revealed their lastest hit strategy title, Laser Squad Nemesis, should be coming to the Mac. The title is a mix of turn-based online play via email and real-time strategy action.

Laser Squad Nemesis features three different factions to play as, over 30 battlegrounds, and a singleplayer tutorial to get you going.

The game's FAQ notes that both Mac and Linux versions of the game are already in development, though no dates are given yet. It also provides a nice overview of the gameplay:

The game is played in 'turns' which represent 10 seconds of real time. Both players issue instructions for their units and the LSN software sends them to our central game servers for processing. The game server calculates the outcome and sends a results file to each player. This arrives in your email in-box, and all you need to do is 'open' the attachment to start LSN and play the next turn. A single game will last about 15 turns on average.
