Elite Force II Multiplayer Q&A 11:04 AM | Eddie Park | Comment on this story
Gaming site Ritualistic has posted the 2nd half of a two-part Q&A session discussing the upcoming Star Trek: Elite Force II FPS. The focus of the interview is on the multiplayer apsect of the game, which has been creating a bit of a buzz in the fan community due to some interesting new additions. A host of optional modifiers are planned for the multiplayer aspect, including Action Hero, Auto-Handicap, and Control Points. Auto-Handicap in particular should raise a couple of eyebrows, as it's main focus is to curb dominant players: Auto-Handicap: In this mode, the game automatically handicaps players who are outscoring others by a large degree. That player?s hits will do less damage. Also discussed in the Q&A are Specialties, which are basically different classes of players. Specialties include Infiltrators, Heavy Weapons, Demolitionists, Technicians, Snipers, and Medics. Also included will be 25 basic character models spread across a variety of races, including the Borg, Nausicaan and Attrexian. The rest of the interview covers topics such as game types, level creation tools, and power-ups.
