GeForce FX 5900 Mac Bound?

Though the Mac is hardly bereft of video card options these days, the current "we can do it better" war between ATI and Nvidia has brought numerous new entries into the market. While we haven't heard any concrete news regarding Mac versions of any of the latest offerings, a product overview PDF featuring the GeForce FX 5900 has some intriguing information in the compatible operating system section: BROAD OPERATING SYSTEM SUPPORT- Microsoft Windows XP
- WindowsME
- Windows 2000
- Windows 9x
- Macintosh
While this is not exactly an official announcement, it definitely invites the possibility of a Mac version of the card. Nvidia currently touts the FX 5900 as "the most powerful member of the Nvidia GeForce FX family," and its specs certainly show it to be one workhorse of a card.Those interested in viewing the PDF for themselves can find it at the link below.
