The long wait is over! Late yesterday MacSoft released the long-awaited demo of Unreal Tournament 2003 for the Macintosh. The demo features 4 maps (2 Death Match, 1 Capure the Flag, and 1 bombing run) and most of the weapons in the full version of the game. Here are the full system requirements: 700Mhz processor 32MB video card Radeon/Geforce 2MX or higher 256MB RAM Mac OS X v10.2.6. Please note that users MUST have Mac OS X v10.2.6 to run Unreal Tournament 2003.The demo weighs in at 131 MB and is available on MGF. Expect extremely slow downloads as there will be huge demand for this demo and very few mirrors are available. For those of you in a rush, the demo is available for IMG Pro subscribers on a speedy server just for IMG Pro users. If you're interested in signing up for IMG Pro, follow the link below. The demo will also be included on the next MacGames CD, which going to duplication at the end of this week. So if you don't have a high speed connection, consider a subscription to the MGCD.
