MoH: Spearhead Headed to Mac

Aspyr Media announced Monday morning that the Medal of Honor Allied Assault: Spearhead expansion pack is coming to the Mac. Medal of Honor Allied Assault: Spearhead is the first expansion pack to Electronic Art's highly-acclaimed Medal of Honor Allied Assault WWII first person shooter brought to the Mac last year. In the expansion pack, players will assume the role of Sgt. Jack Barnes, as he fights his way through nine new single-player levels and over twelve new multiplayer maps, all taking place during the last few months of World War II. Medal of Honor Allied Assault: Spearhead features new locations, new weapons, and new battles, from Operation Overlord to the Battle of the Bulge to the fall of Berlin: Set during the last year of the war in Europe, June 1944 to May 1945, the Medal of Honor Allied Assault Spearhead gives players a sense of the courage it took to parachute behind enemy lines during Operation Overlord, halt the German counter offensive during the Battle of the Bulge, and engage the Germans as they desperately try to defend their capital, Berlin. According to Aspyr's Amity Lesko, MOHAA: Spearhead will also include new multiplayer gameplay modes and even an integratred server browser for finding online games.Currently, the preliminary system requirements are listed as:
MacOS 9.0 or later (with virtual memory), Mac OS X 10.1 or later
PowerMac G3/G4/iMac (Flat-Panel or later)/PowerBook G4 (Gigabit Ethernet orlater)
450MHz or faster
128mb of RAM (256 MB under Mac OS X)
GraphicsAcceleration Required (ATI Rage 128, Radeon, NVidia GeForce or later)
16 MB of VRAM or more Multiplayer requirements:
Internet and LAN (TCP/IP) play supported
Internet play requires a 56 Kbps or faster A full version of the original Medal of Honor Allied Assault game will be required. Please note that these are just preliminary system requirements, and may change when the expansion pack gets released. Aspyr is currently taking pre-orders for the game on their website - the game will retail for $29.95, and is expected to be available in May. [Update]: Westlake's Duane Johnson has brought it to our attention that the level-editing tools will not be included as part of the game (though neither did the PC version).
