WWII Online Mac Availability Update 9:10 AM | Andy Largent | Comment on this story
World War II Online HQ caught a recent post from Cornered Rat's Al "Rafter" Corey, in which he discusses the availability of this just-released Mac version of their massively multiplayer online war sim. He notes sales are already brisk, and that it may be hard to track down a copy of the game until more retailers increase their inventory. Rafter also mentions that beta testers will have their free period extended until November 29 as a result, and that those wanted to order an activation key outside North America can do so on their site: The retailer that took the largest order was CompUSA followed by Electonics Boutique and Apple. It seems that the Apple.com store has already ripped through its entire inventory and the product is on back-order. That's good and bad. Bad because product availability may be an issue for a little while. Good because Mac guys rock and are buying lots of copies :) Visit your favorite retailer and ask them about the game. If they don't have and won't in the next week or so, I'd suggest placing an order with Apple's online store. Check out his full post for more information, and keep an eye out for a copy of World War II Online at your local retailer.
