French gaming web site, Jeux Mac, recently interviewed Destineer's Peter Tamte while at the Apple Expo show in Paris. The impromptu interview, originally in french, has been translated to english and Tamte's thoughts on Mac OS X Jaguar, the company's unannounced original game, as well as some of the ports they are working on.

Here's a snippet from the interview:

Lets talk about game ports, is there anything new coming?

Yes, actually, were gonna be release some few Microsoft games for the Macintosh during 2003. We have announced one of those games so far, Halo, that will coming on summer 2003, for the Macintosh and the PC. Actually, the Mac and the PC versions well be shipped in the same time. Gamers will be very excited, I think, when Halo cames out. But, its important to let people know that the system requirements for Halo will be high. It requires very graphicly powerful machine.

Be sure to check out the rest of the interview.
