Unreal Tournament X Feedback Requested 10:09 AM | Andy Largent | Comment on this story
Yesterday evening, Westlake Interactive's Glenda Adams posted to Usenet newsgroup comp.sys.mac.games.action concerning the state of Unreal Tournament for Mac OS X. In her reply to a gamer's post about the status of a fourth Unreal Tournament X preview, Adams asks gamers to tell her what to focus on next. As an unpaid side project, there are limited resources to work on Unreal Tournament X, and so if you have an idea of what you'd like to see, it's time to speak up. Here's an excerpt from her post: There have been a few dozen reports to the UT X feedback address, but they are pretty wide ranging as far as bugs and other problems (no one bug seems to be cropping up for every user). So rather than fixing a few things here and there, on a whim, I thought I'd ask here to see what the newsgroup consensus is:What's the most important thing you'd like fixed/updated in UT X Preview 4? Speed, stability, particular maps/mods that aren't working right, music, windowed mode (being able to switch to the desktop), more tweaks to mouse code, dedicated server, tweaking/replacing sound system, graphics tweaks (try to fix black squares, etc). Or anything I've missed that's not on the list. As always, there is no guarantee when the next preview will be released, but we'll keep on it and let you know how it's progressing.
