MWSF: Feral—Black & White Out; Worms Blast

While trolling the popular GraphSim area on the Macworld Expo floor, IMG caught up with the company's European partner Feral Interactive. Owner David Stephen gave us the scoop on a number of their upcoming titles, including the newly announced Worms Blast. With the unfortunate loss of Worms Armaggedon on the Mac, it's great news for fans of the series that Blast will be making it. Stephen let us know that while it's still in the very early stages of porting, they expect it to be available in late spring. For those unfamiliar with the Worms series, imagine Lemmings with weapons to get a good idea.

The other big news for both GraphSim and Feral is that Black & White is now available. While the game lacks the multiplayer mode, the show floor demos were running very well and looked great. Stephen also told us the multiplayer patch should be available around March. They are also looking at the expansion pack Creature Isles, though nothing is definite yet on that title.

F1 Championship is now expected in March, so fans of this racer should get prepared. Enemy Engages will be available shortly after, with a March or April release expected. Many other good games are in the works, like Championship Manager Quiz and others he unfortunately couldn't mention. Be sure to check out their web site for more updates soon. And if you're a MacGames CD subscriber, pre-order your copy of Black & White at the IMG store now.
