Unreal Tournament 2 Confirmed
6:00 AM | Sean Smith | Comment on this story

Late last Friday, Blue's News reported that Infogrames has confirmed the rumored Unreal Tournament 2:

Infogrames confirms Unreal Tournament 2 in the making by Digital Extremes. As rumored all week online, the co-creators of Unreal and Unreal Tournament are currently working on the sequel to the infamous 1999 Game of the Year.
Infogrames said it would officially announce the sequel to the hit first-person shooter Unreal Tournament (which was published on the Mac by MacSoft) late next week.

At this early stage, no statement has been made about which platforms Infogrames is targeting, but given the success of the Unreal franchise on the Mac, odds are good that this newest installment will come to our platform. IMG will be sure to keep you abreast of any developments.
