Mac Myth III to Miss Christmas

In a brave posting to the IMG Forums, Nate Birkholz of MacSoft has admitted the Mac version of Myth III: The Wolf Age is going to miss the Christmas holiday this year. Despite valiant efforts from the MumboJumbo (and now Contraband) team to get the final Mac OS X networking issues resolved quickly and tested fully, the date has passed to get the title into production and on shelves.
As you may recall, the folks working on Mac Myth III have encountered both technical (e.g. networking) issues and real-world problems like job relocation.
Here's the full word from Birkholz:
Sad news, but I'm afraid it is now nearly impossible to ship in time for Christmas. We are obviously very disappointed by this, and wish it could be otherwise, but I thought it only fair to let you know. While we're sure some Mac gamers will be sad not to be able to expect Myth III under the tree, it's impressive to see MacSoft sticking to their guns and not releasing until the game is finished. Be sure to stay tuned to IMG for the latest news as Myth III finishes up development and heads into production.
