X-Plane 6.06 Released
9:10 AM | Tim Morgan | Comment on this story

Laminar Research has released version 6.06 of their popular general-aviation sim, X-Plane. The new version adds a number of enhancements in flight modelling and joystick support that players have been asking for. Furthermore, custom cockpit art has been added to the SR-71 Blackbird, F-4 Phantom, and C-119 Packet.

Because of significant changes in the organization of the X-Plane folder, an upgrade is not available; X-Plane owners will have to re-download the full archive.

X-Plane is Laminar Research's highly-modular civillian avaiation sim. Along with offering players a broad variety of aircraft and helicopters (including military and civillian models), it also offers support for spacecraft and Mars flight.
