IMG Reviews Supreme Commander 2 6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story
Inside Mac Games has posted a new review of Virtual Programming's Supreme Commander 2. The real time strategy game drops players into the middle of a war between three galactic empires and gives them the chance to command enormous armies comprised of a host of customizable units. Here's an excerpt from the review: Supreme Commander 2's streamlined production mechanics allow for the fielding of giant armies quickly. It always rewards aggressive play, both in attacking and expanding to take more resources. Within minutes you can have a significant force and if you aren't attacking you will end up defending. Tech up enough and you can build a variety of Experimental Units which can absolutely devastate the opposition in moments. Unless, of course, they have their own to counter yours. Other battlefield changing tech is long range artillery and nuke silos. If you don't have nukes, you'd better have anti-nukes or you can expect to see your base go up in a giant mushroom cloud.
