PvP Comes To Minions Of Mirth 6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | 1 comment
Prairie Games has once again updated Minions of Mirth, the company's single and multiplayer online fantasy RPG. Version 1.24 "Spring Edition" introduces several variations of player vs. player combat to the game. The dynamic new system allows for RvR (Realm versus Realm), GvG (Guild versus Guild) and PvP (Player versus Player) combat as well as the usual PvE (Player versus Environment) gameplay. Here's a brief list of the updates available in the new patch: + Players log into the world with PvE (Player versus Environment) set. Players may change to RvR (Realm versus Realm), GvG (Guild versus Guild) and PvP (Player versus Player) on the settings pane of the character window. + In general, for hostility to occur the two opponents must have hostility enabled on lowest mutual encounter level. From low to high: PvE, RvR, GvG, PvP. For example, a PvP and GvG flagged player can hit RvR flagged players of opposite realm only, but a PvE flagged player can not be hit by any player. + There is no death penalty when getting killed by another player. + Added 'PvE on Death' checkbox to settings. When checked, encounter status gets reset to PvE on character death. This setting is persistent and saved per character. Default is enabled. + Added 'PvE on Zoning' checkbox to settings. When checked, encounter status gets reset to PvE on zoning. This setting is persistent, enabled by default and saved per character. Note that this setting will not override any blocks to encounter status if present. For the lengthy list of updates and changes provided in version 1.24 follow the link listed below.
