Yesterday Disney announced that Toontown Online, its family friendly cartoon MMO, now supports Macs. The non violent game allows players to create their own Toon and join the conflict against the Cogs, a group of business minded robots intent on turning Toontown into a corporate metropolis. Toons succeed against their opponents through use of various familiar cartoon gags.

Here are the requirements for playing the game:

- PowerPC 450 MHz or any Mac with an Intel processor
- 256 MB of RAM
- 300MB free space on your hard drive
- A 32 MB video card
- A 56K modem, or a faster Internet connection
- OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
- Safari Browser
Those interested can join the game for $9.95 per month, $49.95 for a six month subscription, or $79.95 for a full year.
