VDrift, an open source cross-platform driving simulation with a focus on drift racing, has been released for OS X. Although in the early stages of development VDrift is playable and features realistic physics powered by the Vamos engine, a day/night weather cycle, and fully customizable controls. More info on the OS X release: This release has been built on Mac OS X "Tiger" 10.4 but should work on earlier releases. Since this is the first release for Mac OS X there are likely some problems, please give us Feedback.Known problems: - VDrift can't start if the path to it's data folder is exactly 32 characters long. If you just see black-filled window with two white bars at the top, force quit VDrift and move it somewhere else on your Harddisk. - Crashes sometimes ;-> - On-the-fly resolution-switching doesn't work To download the game or learn more follow the links below.
