Red Marble Games Releases BreakQuest 10:39 AM | Tuncer Deniz | Comment on this story
Red Marble Games, in association with Nurium Games, has announced the release of BreakQuest, a unique new brick-breaking game that uses realistic physics to produce what GameTunnel.com named one of its Top 5 Indie Games of the Year. Balls of different sizes bounce off springs, dampers, and bumpers of every shape and size. Bricks hang, fall, grow, shrink, appear, vanish, interact with other bricks, and even shoot back at you. 100 levels, every one with a different theme; 10 different player ships; 9 weapons; powerups galore, good and bad. Cool sound effects and an extended sound track from the established gaming music group "Maniacs of Noise" perfectly complement vibrant visuals and create a totally immersive playing atmosphere. The demo offers eight levels out of 100, but barely scratches the surface of what this game can do. The full version not only has more variety, but also includes an unlockable arcade mode that lets you set up the game as you like: adjust ball speed, configure scenes, change bumper size, customize power ups, select what scenes you want to play, and much more. Incredible replay value. BreakQuest is available as shareware for $19.95. A demo is available on the Red Marble Games web site.
