Wideload Games Releases Stubbs Videos 10:48 AM | Conrad Quilty-Harper | Comment on this story
Wideload Games fansite WideloadGames.org has reported that videos of the game studio's first game, Stubbs The Zombie, have been released. A total of nine new movies have been posted, revealing new aspects of gameplay never seen before. The story behind Stubbs The Zombie is one of Edward "Stubbs" Stubblefield. Stubbs is brutally murdered in 1933 and resurrected in 1959 as a zombie. As a player you get to control Stubbs and cause havoc as a member of the undead. Wideload Games is formed from several ex-members of Bungie Studios. Stubbs will be the first third party company to license the Halo engine. Heres WideloadGames.org's take on the videos: Some notable items of interest:-You see the mechanism of Stubbs dismembered hand possessing a man. -Stubbs hops onto a tractor and does a little tilling zombie style, but the only soil to be found is in the pants of the farmers. -Stubbs can melee by ripping his or another's arm off to use it to preach carnage and mayhem. I've seen the Light Brother Stubbs! -Stubbs can smash through windows and doors like paper to put the brain bite on folks. A strategy to consider when nobody wants to come out to play. -"Traveling salesmen in the farmers barn" jokes are going to have to be completely rewritten. -Witness the much ballyhooed "Gut Bomb". Not at all like the gut bombs my wife reviles me for. To watch the videos or read about the content, follow the respective links below.
