6:35 AM | Marcus Albers | Comment on this story

Puzzlers Degana Games have released a new title for the Macintosh, called Ponere. Ponere is the Latin verb meaning to put or to place.

The purpose of the game is similar to the old sliding puzzle games. Using controls on the edge of the play field, the player slide tiles around to create complete rings. Ponere features the following:

• Relaxing fun without timers or fast keyboard action
• Suitable for all ages
• 80 levels that can be played in any order
• Player profiles to track personal scores and level completion for each person in the home
A demo of the game can be downloaded from Degana's website. The full version costs $19.95 and can be purchased from their website, as well.
