IMG Reviews Pirates vs Ninjas vs Zombies vs Pandas
6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story

Inside Mac Games has posted a new review of PAN Vision's Pirates vs Ninjas vs Zombies vs Pandas. The action game throws players into the fray as four factions engage in all out war to destroy each other. The game features 6 campaigns, 67 levels, and 9 unique characters.

Here's an excerpt from the review:

In this case, PNZP is at least worth checking out. It follows the formula for the genre pretty closely and it generally has well-designed levels. Shot types are slowly revealed, different obstacles are added, and levels unlock as you gather the obligatory bonus stars. There aren't really that many obstacles, sadly, but there's at least enough to keep you busy for an hour or two here or there. You'll at least have the full range of worlds relatively quickly, as the star requirement for each one is pretty low.

Steven Peeler Hints At Soldak's Next Game
6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story

Soldak Entertainment's Steven Peeler has recently offered some hints about the company's next game title. The developer of Depths of Peril, Din's Curse, and Kivi's Underworld has revealed that the new game will feature a dynamic environment, more visual effects, and likely a human mercenary protagonist.

New game hint: you will probably be human, although there are other races.

New game hint: the setting is pretty dark.

Next game hint - I'm pretty sure it will have a very dynamic environment (quests, ai, events, etc).

New game hint: probably more effects than last game (from weapons, skills, explosions, etc.).

Last new game hint for today: will probably play as a mercenary.

Next game hint: lots of open spaces.

Next game hint: will include a mode of transport other than on foot.

I'm running out of hints for our next game, how about some potential unit names: Behemoth, Enforcer, Guardian, Talon, and Valkyrie.
