Blizzard Entertainment today announced that World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, the highly anticipated third expansion for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game, is now on sale in stores throughout North America, Europe, Argentina, Chile, Russia, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, and will be available beginning December 9 in Korea and the regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.

“Cataclysm adds an incredible amount of new content for players to explore, revitalizing the game world and building on everything we've learned since World of Warcraft launched over six years ago," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “We thank all of our beta testers for helping make this our best expansion yet, and we're looking forward to seeing everyone in the new Azeroth."

In World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing has returned, and the world has been reshaped by the devastation left in his wake. In an effort to survive the planet-shattering cataclysm, two new playable races -- worgen and goblins -- join the struggle between the Alliance and the Horde. Players can now begin their journey to the new level cap of 85, discover newly revealed locations, acquire new levels of power, and come face to face with Deathwing in a battle to determine the fate of the world.

InterAction Studios has announced the release of Chicken Invaders 4: Ultimate Omelette. The space shooter puts players at the forefront of a battle against invading intergalactic chickens, bent on revenge against the human race for its oppression of Earth chickens. The game features 120 chicken attack waves, 12 star systems, and multiplayer action.

In this episode, the chickens have constructed a gigantic cannon capable of launching planet-scale eggs against Earth, with the ultimate goal of encrusting humanity in an impenetrable wall made of egg white. Joined by an unlikely ally, players will travel to foreign, unexplored galaxies in an effort to locate and destroy the egg cannon before it reaches Earth.

The enemy repertoire has been significantly broadened, introducing several different kinds of chickens which attack relentlessly in colorful groups and meticulously choreographed formations. The chicken fray is punctuated by fights against boss enemies spanning up to three times the size of the screen. The arsenal at the player's disposal has also been correspondingly extended, with three new weapons and four kinds of supporting satellites providing additional firepower. The player's intergalactic journey is also accentuated by unique fantastic scenarios, such as navigating through a field of gigantic floating feathers, or dodging molten planet chunks during a supernova explosion.

Chicken Invaders® was introduced in 1997, with the game series making its first public appearance in 1999. Since then, it has won over 50 awards and has been downloaded over 150,000,000 times. It has been translated to 9 languages and made available in 154 countries, reaching Windows, Mac and Linux platforms, mobile phones, and retail outlets alike.

In a new developer blog Sector3 Games has revealed some screenshots from the upcoming StuntMANIA Reloaded racing title. The game is a sequel to the original StuntMANIA, a fast paced stunt driving game which allows players to perform tricks and stunts with a selection of stunt cars on a variety of tracks. Reloaded is described as "like the original StuntMANIA but on MEGA STEROIDS!"
